Of
our 515 acres, approximately 35 acres is involved in tha
mining of clay. We have always planned reclamation of
this area.
To this end, we have stockpiled t;~e stripped topsoil and
overburden to be used £or resurfaci.-tg and reseeding aft~:r
the land has been sloped to a grade similar to its original
condition.
Due to the topography in this @rea, we feel the
stabilization of this land will be relatively simple and
can be done in a short time upon cessation of operation.a.
a
,~
Since we are mining our own land, '.re have a high pers~~nal
interest in its preservation, and are eager to cooperate
with the Colorado Bureau of Mines in this matter.
S/ '-~ ~S Very traly yours,
,.~ ,~~
LEE DOUGIiTY `~
L c., ,- 6~, y.c - r
Na.,,,,~.
