One copy of the document is not
bound. This document includes environmental ground water monitoring data collected and
compiled during our twenty-fifth quarter of operations (December 2006). No solution
mining activity occurred during the report period.
The ground water data summary report is spiral bound as anon-confidential document and
includes a comparison of the 25th operational quarter with baseline and operational
general statistics prior to the current reporting period. In addition, the tables provide
information for comparison of Ground Water Standards as provided in Regulation No. 41
and Numeric Protective Levels and Early Warning Indicators as amended in TR-4.
Analysis of the data collected in the fourth quarter 2006 shows one data point for dissolved
boron elevated above the numeric protective level at the 21-3 Uinta monitoring well. The
sample collected in December 2006 indicates a value for dissolved boron of 4.1 mg/L. The
calculated NPL for this constituent at this sampling point is 3.64 mg/L. The baseline mean
value for dissolved boron is 3.25 mg/L and the operational mean is 2.89 mg/L. The
maximum value observed in the baseline monitoring phase prior to solution mining was 7.0
mg/L. No other constituents flagged above the NPL at this well or any other sampling
point during the quarter. Observations of dissolved boron at well 21-3U will continue on a
quarterly frequency. Data for dissolved boron at well 21-3U during the period of record is
represented in the graph on the following page.
Delivering a Crystal Clear Advantage
www.americansoda.com
