U S WEST <br />Communications owns telephone facilities consisting of lines <br />and poles in or close to your proposed operation. <br />It is understood that should the Jack Pine Mining company, or <br />any of its employees or agents, damage any of the telephone <br />• facilities, that the Jack Pine Mining company will be <br />responsible for the cost of repair or replacement of any <br />damage and will indemnify and hold U S WEST Communications <br />harmless for the incident. <br />Please acknowledge your understanding of this agreement by <br />signing in the space below and returning a copy of this <br />letter to me at the address above. <br />Yours truly, <br />~~~!~,/~ <br />Daniel P.
