Rule 3.2 (1)(f) requires that a map showing sufficient information
to determine the locatidn of the affected land in connection with
the mining operation be provided. Names of all immediately
adjacent surface owners of record shall also be shown. The
boundary between state and federal land (BLM) could not be
discerned from the general location map (Exhibit E). Rule 3.2 (1)(h) requires that information be provided to describe or
identify the type of mincing operation proposed and how it will be
conducted. The mining plan as presented in the application does
not clearly describe how the operation will be conducted. We
suggest that you provide a discussion of the mining equipment and
methods to be used, configuration of the quarry and timeframes or
phases of the operation. We also suggest you provide a mining plan
map which includes the direction of mining, anticipated
disturbance, and various phases of the operation.

STATE OF COLORADO
,~
