The pump station will be accessed by means of a narrow roadway which will
include improvements to the existing "two track" wilderness road into the site. Two
sections of the existing road will be abandoned and re-aligned. Those areas will be
restored to wetlands that existed prior to the road to provide mitigation as described in
the Mitigation Plan (under separate cover). One of those two sections is immediately
adjacent to the USFS boundary and the restoration will provide additional buffer distance
to the property line with improved habitat.
The project has been configured to result in the least amount of impact to
jurisdictional wetlands and to the jurisdictional stream segments.
LOCATION OF PROJECT
USGS Quadrangle Sheet Geoaraahic Location
The pump station site and access road are located in the North half of Sections
32 and 33, T7S, R79W of the 6'h P.M.
