A copy of the regulation is
enclosed. The regulations require facilities such as yours to be
covered under a NPDES (CDPS In Colorado) for Stormwater discharges
until such time as t:he Mined Land Reclamation Division determines
the site is reclaimed. The Water Quality Control Division has
modified the Construction Aggregate General Permit to cover
Stormwater discharges, therefore continued coverage under this
permit may be desir:~ble. To ensure that we are not inactivating
permits which are ~(ubject to the Stormwater regulation, we are
asking that you suply us with verification that you have reclaimed
the site and have rel~eived from MLRD a "Letter of Release". We are
sorry for any incom~enience this may cause.
Please contact me with any question about this action at (303) 692-
3597.
Sincerely, `1~/~-~
.rt11QJ
ouann Gaines, Staff Assistant
Permits and Enforcealent Section
WATER QUALITY CONTROL DIVISION
cc: zB~iiti7d f+r'1tLn"e'r S@'C"L 071: •~MLRD .
Victor Sainz, District Engineer, WQCD"``-
