III 1111111111111111 <br />999 <br />Exhibit D <br />1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />The proposed Pazkdale Project includes mining: <br />E:hibit D CMLRB 112 Permit Application <br />Agile Stone Systems. Inc. <br />Mining Plan <br />1) sand and gravel from a gravel baz, <br />2) granite from a quarry and <br />3) sandstone from a small quarry. <br />Mined material will be sized and shaped with screens and crushers. Material will be <br />shipped primarily by rail with local deliveries by truck. Mining operations are planned <br />for one shift per day. A second shin will be added if and when product demand <br />increases. Maintenance and rail loading may be scheduled anytime. Truck loading will <br />be limited to 6 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 6 am to noon on Saturday. The <br />project has been designed to utilize natural topographic screening along with constructed <br />permanent berms to limit visual impact from Highway 50 to the extent possible. <br />The project layout is shown on the Mining Plan Map which shows the permit and <br />• affected ]and boundaries, proposed mining and process areas, proposed roads, railways, <br />ditches, and sediment control structures. Another map enclosed is aPre-Mining Plan <br />Map which identifies the permit boundaries, existing roads, utilities, topography, <br />structures, and neighboring property owners. <br />Neighboring Land Owners <br />There are 6 neighboring land owners: BLM, Wootton, UPRR, the Applicant, Mazk <br />Brown and Frank Harvey. Moving clockwise from the north in section 12: <br />1) BLM north and east of the north '/z and east of the north '/z of the south '/2 <br />of section 12, <br />2) Wootton east of the south %2 of the south'/~ of section 12, <br />3) UPRR from east to west on a right of way close to the section boundaries <br />between sections 12 and 13 and between sections 11 and 14, <br />4) Applicant (Agile Stone Systems (Harvey Ranch)) between the railroad and <br />the river from the east end of section 12/14 to within about 750' of the <br />west end of section 14, <br />5) Mark Brown with 2 small parcels on either side of county road 157, <br />6) Frank Harvey to the west of Mark Brown, <br />7) Applicant (Agile Stone Systems (Harvey Ranch)) in the southwest comer, <br />8) BLM west of the permit boundary and <br />9) Applicant (Agile Stone Systems (Harvey Ranch)) in the northwest comer <br />• <br />
