Harris Coal Co., Successor in Interest to <br />Consolidated Fuels, Inc. <br />Dear Bob: <br />Paragraph 3 of the above captioned Lease Fgreement provides Eor an <br />annual rental of $28,000 to be paid to W. R. Grace on or before May 15 <br />of each lease year. As a result of our meeting in Denver on June 16, it <br />was agreed between the parties that this annual rental could be paid in <br />semi-annual installments. Therefore, W. R. Grace 6 Co. and Mt. Harris <br />• Coal Co. desire to amend paragraph 3 of the Lease Agreement dated May 15, <br />1979, to read as follows: <br />3. Rent. Lessee agrees to pay Lessor a rental of $28,000 per <br />annum, one-half ($14,000) to be paid on or before htay 15 and one-half <br />($14,000) to be paid on or before November 15 of each lease year at <br />the address set out in paragraph 11 or at such other address as Lessor <br />may by notice designate to Lessee. <br />All other terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement dated May 15, <br />1979, shall remain the same. <br />We are in receipt of your payment in the amount of $14,000 as the <br />semi-annual payment due May 15, 1983.
