This area <br />represents the lowest part of the present drainage and is <br />expected to harbor the thickest section of material suitable for <br />distribution as topsoil. <br />The site from which Soil Sample No. 1 was collected is a <br /> <br />• <br />flat area measuring slightly less than a quarter acre in size <br />from which soil can be collected. This area lies east of <br />Engleville Gulch, and this sample is the only one taken in this <br />area. The remainder of the pit area east of Engleville Gulch is <br />quite steep, and is heavily lettered with residual boulders left <br />from surface erosion. Enyloville Gulch contains a large con- <br />centration of boulders because it heads at the toe of Fisher's <br />Feak.
