"EXHIBIT B" cont.

c. "Exhibit B" map designates the boundaries of four (9) parcels
of land, and the boundaries of which incompasses the affected
area. Parcel-1 consists of 32.78 acres, of which 22.5 acres
will actually be affected by the mining operation. There will
be no open mining within this area, and it's use will be limited
to stockpile, processing, office, shop, scale and haul road
facilities. Parcel-2 is the area of the current open mining
operation and consist of the 42.94 acres provided fcr in the
existing Open Mining Permit number 35. P~~P~~~a~n~iarc~ .
consisting of 11.74 and 30.51 acres respectively, are the de-
signated a =e as for future onan-mining o~erat;ons and are~e~
specified for the amended nP+-m;r,
d. "Exhibit B" map shows the present topography of the area.
e. "Exhibit B" map does not show the general type, thickness
and distribution of soil over the area covered by the permit
application nor the characteristics of the soil, in lieu of
which a report prepared by the U.S. Soil Conservation Service
is submitted herewith.
f. "Exhibit B" map does not indicate the type, character, and
density of present vegetation occuring in the area covered
by the permit application. This information is provided by
the report of the U.S. Soil Conservation Service refered to
in e. above.
g. "Exhibit B" map does not indicate the thickness of the quarry
aggregates to be mined nor the thickness of the overburden.
"Exhibit A-2" shows that the geology of area to be [tined is
Precambrion Crystalline Rock of indefinite thickness. This
rock is exposed to the surface throughout most of the area
resulting in no overburden.
h. A plan has been made showing a cross-section for both "Exhibit
B" and "Exhibit G" maps. These cross-section s. indicate the top-
ography for (1) existing and (2) post mining conditions of a
section extending East and West from the boundaries of the pro-
perty. Mo acquifiers are indicated, because neither existing
geology of the area, core drilling, nor the mining operation
have revealed the presence of possible acquifiers.
i. No aerial photographs are available, which are suitable for
this application.
j. Two U.S.G.S. maps refered to in "Exhibit A" are included with
this application, and are submitted to serve as "Index Maps"
showing the regional location and all roads and other access
to the area.
