2.04.9 <br />• ^ RESPONSE continued <br />0.82-4.44 meg/1. The highest quantities of calcium are found in <br />the A horizon of all three soil series. Thus there appears to be <br />more than enough plant available calcium for reclamation. The <br />magnesium content ranged from 0.21-0.93. The highest concen- <br />trations are found in the A horizon. More than enough plant <br />available magnesium seems to be present. The sodium adsorption <br />ratio (SAR) ranges from U.11-0.49. These values are very low <br />and won't pose any problem in reclamation. The texture is <br />variable through the profile. Most of the soil profiles have clay <br />accumulations in the B horizon. The A horizons appear to have <br />been eluviated. The texture in the A horizons contain less clay <br />and are more suitable for reclamation as far as physical and <br />chemical properties are concerned. <br /> <br />• <br />
