However, we want to make it clear to you, your client, and members of the public <br />that the participation of Grand Junction Pipe and Delta Paving should not be construed as any kind <br />of admission or acknowledgmcirt that Delta County's assertions with respect to the Volk Minor <br />Subdivision are correct, or that Delta County has the right to restrict the uses of the property whip:~t <br />Delta Paving acquired from the Volks, except to the extent indicated on the recorded plat for th~: <br />Volk Minor Subdivision. Grand Junction Pipe and Delta Paving reserve all rights, claims ari~' <br />defenses which they may have with respect to the matters asserted by Delta County. <br />We likewise acknowledge that Delta County, by participating in the process we are <br />discussing, does not waive any rights or claims that it may assert with respect to the Volk property. <br />The purpose of this process is to try to reach a resolution of the situation discussed in Mr. Yea;;::r's <br />February 22 letter in a manner which is mutually acceptable to the parties involved. <br />I look forwazd to working with you on this matter, and resolving it quickly.
