III IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
Mined Land Reclamation
Attn: Rade H. Orell
723 Centennial Building
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
Dear Sir:
March 8, 1978 -
Hesperus, CO.
~~
MR~E ~ ~
'`~;~;~.;bN
~ ..~• ;,:.,sus.
~~~,^, fee:, s.:;...
Enclosed are answers to questions enclosed with your
letter of 15 ]February 1978. These replies adequately answer
your questions point for point, although they duplicate
much of the information previo©sly received by you.
In reference to republishment of public notices, I
do not feel that republishment is necessary. Firstly,
a copy of the ammended rules and regulations should have
been sent to me with your letter of 7 December 1977.
Secondly, according to the ammendment itself, the rule
is valid for only 90 days, the term of which has long
since passed. Thirdly, the wording of the published
notices allows for objections to be received by you
until you decide to consider the matter. Lastly, the
time and money which I have spent on permit fees and
application fees go into a fund from which both you and
the Attorney General are compensated. If the two of you
feel you want these notices republished, you can both
chip in and have them republished.
During the last three weeks I have tried to contact
you by phone on numerous occasians. After first getting
a disconnect recording, I tried all the agencies I could
think of trying to get in contact with you, all to no avail.
It seems to me that this is a rather sorry way for a government
agency to conduct its business.
