(Table 2). <br />Production data shows fortis were very productive. Artemisia <br />dracunculus produced 46.6 gms/mz, Linaria vulgaris 33.7 gms/mz, <br />Cynoglossum officinale 27.7 gms/m2, and~Cirsium arvense 20.2 gms/mz <br />(Table 9). The sedge, Carex spp. produced 12.5 gms/mz and Phalaris <br />arundinacea 10.6 gms/mz. Total production averaged 214.3 gms/mz. <br />Sample adequacy for production was met at 9 samples, 10 were obtained <br />(Table 2). <br />Salix exiqua was the mast dense shrub, at 1.6 shrubs/mz, or 94%, <br />Rosa woodsii had 0.1 shrub/mz, or 6% (Table 10). Average shrub density <br />was 1.7 shrubs/m z. <br />The dominant shrub in both the affected area and reference area <br />• was Salix exiqua. Fortis were dominant understory vegetation as the <br />` entire willow vegetation type had burned the previous year and invader <br />species had come in. They were very abundant and diverse, with high <br />production. <br />• <br />
