ANNUAL CERTIFICATION OF IMPOUNDMENT <br />WEST RIDGE CHECK DAM STRUCTURES <br />October 5, 2005 <br />I, the undersigned, certify that the West Ridge Check Dam Structures, numbers 9-21, based on <br />observations made during visual inspection on September 2l, 2005, are structurally sound and <br />capable of performing the velocity check function that they were designed for. The features do <br />impound water and have storage capacity to capture sediment from surface water runoff. These <br />structures will, by design, eventually fill with sediment and cease to impound water. The structures <br />were built, and reconstructed, at a minimum, to meet design criteria outlined in the Edna Mine <br />Permit (#C-80-001). <br />Field Inspector: Engineer: <br />ro mers <br />
