All operations conducted by OPERATOR in the Mining Area
shall be strictly in accordance with the Mining Plan proposed by
OPERATOR and approved and consented to be ATLANTIC RICHFIELD and
shall further be subject to approval by the various state and
federal regulatory agencies and by the Area Mining Supervisor of the
United States Geological Survey as required by applicable
regulations. Any variation from the foregoing tdining Plan for
operations in the Mining Area by OPERATOR must be approved in
advance in writing by ATLANTIC RICHFIELD. OPERATOR shall also have
the right to propose amendments to the Mining or Development Plan
which shall be submitted to the Area Mining Supervisor for his
approval.
