Everist's proposed Maryland Creek Ranch sand and gravel operation (permit
application NM-96-049). Consequently, Ms. Young will not be attending the informal
conference on October 2, 1996. Notwithstanding Ms. Young's decision to withdraw her
objection, it is our understating that if the Division of Minerals and Geology ("DMG")
subsequently determines that L.G, l;verist's existing operation violates the DMG's rules and
regulations or the governing statute, a permit for the proposed project would be denied.
Please call me if you have any questions or need additional information.
Very truly yours,
~~-<lC_
Charles L.
