I was hoping to mail this package to you a week ago
however the additional time was necessary to reach concensus regarding the requirements of the
Performance Warranty and secure the signature.
We have spent considerable time and effort assembling the package and I hope that it meets with
your approval. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the prolonged period of time that
we used to correct our original entry of the pit, and respond to the findings of your December 15,
1999 inspection. As you know the State Line Ranch Pit is ahigh-quality pit run source and we
anticipate using it to restore degraded roads and watersheds on National Forest lands in the area.
We look forward to working with you in the operation, maintenance, and eventual reclamation of
the State Line Ranch Pit.
Respectfully,
Dennis H.
