• <br />Reclamation Plan <br />Upon completion of the excavation, each phase area out of the dry <br />~ creek bed area will be reclaimed. After all areas but the creek <br />bed are reclaimed, the creek bed area will be 'reclaimed. <br />Reclamation will be undertaken in the following manner for each <br />phase: <br />~ 1. Level and regrade disturbed areas land any formerly <br />disturbed areas within the permit area) to form a gradual <br />slope toward the dry creek bed area. Slopes will be a minimum <br />of 2% and maximum of 4 to 1. <br />'L. Revegetate per the accompanying recommendations in Appendix <br />~ I. <br />Reclamation of the dry creek bed area shall be undertaken after all <br />other reclamation has been completed. It shall consist of simply <br />smoothing out the creek bottom to the revegetated areas on each <br />side. No revegetation is proposed in this area. <br />A map on the next pane shows the reclamation plan graphically. <br />Conclusion <br />The aggregate affect of approval of this request will be to allow <br />~ the reasonable extraction of sand material without any disruption <br />to others. No homes or structures are locate within a 1/4 mile of <br />the excavation area. It is located in a low golly area along the <br />West Bijou Creek bottom, and is hardly visible Y'rom the County <br />I road. Any air emissions will be taken care by watering as needed, <br />and the traffic generate will be extremely intermittent and <br />~ minimal. <br />The proposal is therefore consistent with the County's regulations <br />and the area in which it is located, is consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan and the County's regulations, and is compatible <br />and not detrimental to the surrounding area. The property owners <br />would request the County's favorable considerable of this request. <br /> <br />~~ <br />12 <br />• <br />
