P. - Colowyo Coal Company L.P.
CDPS Certification No. COR-040209
Moffat County
Dear Mr. Kiger,
We are in receipt of your email noting the omission of several receiving waters that were listed in the permit application
certification page for the above referenced certification.
The additional receiving waters were not included on the certification due to limitations in our database. Only two receiving
waters are listed in our database, and therefore, included on the certification page. However, you are still authorized to
discharge stormwater into any waters of the State, as allowed in your permit (Part I.A.1).
If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call at (303) 692-3555.
Sincerely,
Nathan Moore
Environmental Protection Specialist
Permits Unit
WATER QUALITY CONTROL DIVISION
cc: File Copy
»> "Kiger, James (KEC)" <KigerJ@kenergy.com> 04/03 9:34 AM »>
Nathan Moore:
CDPHE
Per our telephone conversation today, would you please email me a
clarification regarding the Certification page to Permit COR-040209. My
question was why did the certification page list only one receiving stream,
Good Springs Creek, rather than all of the receiving streams listed in the
Permit Application?
Thank you for your attention in this matter.
James A.
