The mine is expected to have a 10-12 year life producing <br />130,000 tons per year of coal. The mine area is 160 acres (S 1/2, SE 1/4, <br />Section 7, and N 1/2, NF. 1/4, Section 18, T.9.N., R.78.W.). <br />THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE <br />• FOLLOWING: <br />Surface mining activities including: removal, transport and storage of <br />topsoil and overburden; removal and transport of coal. <br />Equipment includes: scrapers, highway coal trucks, bulldozers, front- <br />end loaders, grader, water truck and maintenance truck (crusher may be used). <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY COiVTROL COYiNISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (25-7-101 et sue), TO THOSE GENERAL TERNS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. Opacity of emissions shall not exceed 20°~. <br />2. Unpaved roads on the mine site shall be watered, as necessary, to reduce <br />fugitive dust emissions. If watering is not adequate chemical stabilizers <br />shall be applied to roads. This condition applies to both coal haul roads, <br />front-end loader work areas, and scraper roads used for overburden transport. <br />3. (dine production shall not exceed 130,000 tons/year, <br />4. Vehicle speeds on-site shall not er.ceed 20 m.p.h. <br />5. 1~leasures shall be taken to limit spillage of coal and deposit of dirt from <br />vehicles onto Waved roads. <br />• 6.
