Weber
Colorado Springs, CO 80907
Dear Mr. Goforth;
our Department is applying to the State of Colorado for a 110
Limited Impact mining permit for a safety project we are involved
in. As part of the documentation we are required to obtain from
the Division of Wildlife a letter with regard to the impact of the
pit on wildlife.
The operation is located in the SE1/4SE1/4 of Section 10, Range 60
W, Township 11 S. For your convenience I have enclosed a map with
the location of the pit. We would appreciate it if you would
investigate this area and inform us of any critical or important
wildlife habitats or wildlife species that would be impacted by
this safety project.
Thank you for your cooperation. The county has the owners
permission to enter the property for any investigation associated
with the permit in case you need to field investigate the area. If
you have any questions please call me at 520-6841.
Respectfully,
Mervin Casey
Systems Supervisor
