The reclamation plan calls for returning the disturbed areas. after mining and rectamation, to a land use that is <br />readential and wild life habdat These land uses are consstent wdh those found in the surrounding area and the <br />adopted commun~ry land use plans <br />The post mining land use calls for the ultimate development of 52 residential home sites to be located on Extraction <br />Areas A, E, and F The resutt~ng overall density would be 0 5 dwelling units per acre. or 2 0 acres per unit The <br />accompanying Reclamation Plan Map depicts the relationship o! the housing area to the property boundary. roadway <br />access. and other features of the future development A key element of the reclamation plan calls for re-grading the <br />mined area A, E, and F using the stockpiled overburden removed as part of the initial mining operation. BackSlhng of <br />the mined areas will be a 'wntrolled- 511 operation. To insure uniform compaction, The Federal Housing <br />Administration's publication, 79G will be utilized These areas will be re-vegetated as outlined later ~n the exMbd <br />The predominate feature of the future development will be 54 5 acres of Private Open Space, or 52 percent of the total <br />sne area..
