14 <br /> <br />wood. The circle was mapped as was the artifact assemblage. The site <br />is in a predominantly bedrock situation with fluvial gravels and cobbles <br />eroding from the ridge. The thin soil consists of silty aeolean sands. <br />There is little, if any, potential for buried cultural material. <br />Evaluation: This site is ba.sic:211y completely ek~posed on the <br />surface. Its potential data contribution lies in a good map and sur- <br />face collection, both completed by our field crew, and in integration <br />of this information with other future studies in the area. The site <br />would not, in the Principal Investigator's judgment, qualify for <br />listing on the National Register. <br />Recommendation: No further work is recommended at this site. <br />• <br /> <br />u <br />
