Deaz Ms. Cando:
The Division completed a technical review of your 110 Limited Impact permit application.
Following are a few items that need to be addressed in order fo meet the minimum requirements
of the Act/Mineral Rules and Regulations:
1) As we discussed on the 25t1i, parts of the permit application need to be corrected since you
informed the Division that the site is located in Section 23, not Section 22.
2) Page 2 of the application form needs to be corrected It describes the site location as
Section 22. It should be Section 23. Correct and submit two copies to the Division.
3) Exhibit A - first pazagraph states that the site is located in the S/2 of Section 22. This
needs to be corrected. Pazagraph 2 is OK. Submit two copies of the corrected page.
4) Exhibit C - it is uncleaz what you mean by a floating bond. All of the acreage within a
110 permit boundary is considered affected land and will require bonding. So, the
estimated cost of reclamation will cover the entire site. Once reclamation has been
completed, you can always ask for a partial release. If a partial release is approved, the
bond maybe reduced (if warranted).
5) You propose to use netting to hold the mulch down. Why not crimp the mulch since it is
less expensive?
Will the earthen berm be removed after mining ceases or left in place?
6) The Mining Plan map needs to be corrected and the map needs to be signed by the person
who prepared the map. There aze two corrections that need to be made involving Section
22 vs Section 23. Correct and submit two copies to the Division.
7) The Reclamation Plan map needs to-be corrected and the map needs to be signed by the
person who prepazed the map. Again, there are two corrections that need to be made
involving Section 22 vs Section 23. Correct and submit two copies to the Division.
All the other Exhibits are OK.
Your public notice states that the mine site is in Section 22, make sure you correct this mistake
before you re-publish the notice.
