1 <br /> <br />Loam -- Reoresentative Profile <br />' A - 0 to 4 inches; pale brown (lOYR 6/3) loam; dark brown (lOYR <br /> 4/3) moist; moderate fine granular structure; soft, very <br /> friable, nonsticky and nonelastic; calcareous; moderately <br />' alkaline; clear smooth boundary. <br /> AC - 4 to 10 inches; pale brown (lOYR 6/3) loam; dark brown (lOYR <br /> 4/3) moist; weak coarse prismatic structure; slightly hard, <br />' very friable; slightly sticky and slightly plastic; <br /> calcareous; moderately alkaline; gradual smooth boundary. <br />' C1 - 10 to 44 inches; light yellowish brown (lOYR 6/4) loam, dark <br /> yellowish brown (lOYR 4/4) moist; weak coarse prismatic <br /> subangular blocky structure parting to weak medium; hard, <br />' very friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; <br /> inconsistent deposits of secondary calcium carbonate occurs <br /> as coatings on peds and as mycelia; calcareous; moderately <br />' alkaline; gradual smooth boundary. <br /> C2 - 44 to 60 inches; pale brown (lOYR 6/3) loam, brown (lOYR <br /> 4/3) moist; weak coarse prismatic structure; soft, very <br />' friable, slightly sticky and slightly plastic; calcareous; <br /> moderately alkaline. <br />' The soil is calcareous at a depth of 0 to 6 inches.
