Note that Outfall 001 discharged during each week in January, the first week in February, and did not discharge during the month of March. No permit limitation exceedences occurred during the period. A Quartedy Whole EfFluent Toxicity (WET) test sample appears to have been collected for Outtall 001 during the first quarter of 2002, but was inadvertently left in a cooler at our office. So the sample was not submitted to the laboratory within appropriate holding times. The sample is currently archived at our analytical laboratory'. While taking to Chris Gates on another issue, I brought this up -asking if we should analyze the sample as a "good faith effort" even though it was past the holding time. He indicated that we should "save our money" and explain the situation in a letter. Note that previous WET tests for this outtall have passed for each quarter of 2001, and has recently passed for a sample collected on April 10, 2002 (This report is attached). Based upon this data, and the limited discharge from this Outtall during the 1'~ quarter, TCC is of the opinion that Outfall 001 presented no significant environmental impact during the first quarter of 2002.
