CO 81434 <br />Dear Mr. Barbe: <br />DIYISIOn of Minerals end Geology <br /> <br />In Reply <br />Refer to: <br />CO-1~0 <br />COC-56447 <br />We reviewed your request to drill a hole (2001-11-1 EEE), construct a doll pad and 400 feet of <br />new access road on coal lease COC-X6447. The total access length is approximately 1200 feet <br />and includes an existing (but closzd) rood on BLM and Mountain Coal Company private lands. <br />The purpose of the hole is to is [o acquire data and may serve as a water quality monitoring hole. <br />The area was surveyed for threaten and endangered species and cultural resources and no sites <br />were found.
