EXHIBIT N - Other Permits and Licenses
The enclosed Exhibit N-1 (Application for Conditional
Use Zoning Permit is the only permit or license applicable
to this Reclamation Permit Application.
The Affected area is on private land, on a gravel
bench, away from surface and ground water resources, and
away from wetlands.
1. The Colorado Historical Society is withiout jurisdiction
on private land;
2. No water rights will be affected or applied for. And
no surface or ground water will be intercepted or
impounded. Therefore, the Colorado Division of Water
Resources will not be affected;
3. Moffat County's borrow pits are exempted from stormwater
drainage permit requirements under the Water Quality
Control Division's Standard Industrial Code no. 16;
4. Moffat County has an Air Pollution Control Permit for
their portable screening crusher plant. The location
of the Cross Mountain Pit No. 1 will be forwarded to
the Colorado Health Department.
5. The U.S. Bureau of Land Management owns land within 200
feet of the affected area. They will be notified by
certified mail of this application.
6. There are no "waters of the United States" or
"wetlands" affected by this operation. Therefore, the
U. S. Corps of Engineers is without jurisdiction.
