The evaluation should take <br />into account the "total system". Interactive parameters may either <br />•nullify or verify the significance of a potential problem. <br />2 This value is supported by DSL (1983) and GSi4 (1985). <br />3 This value is supported by SEAN (1979), DSL (1983) and BLM (1977). <br />4 The low limit of this range is :supported by SEAM {1979) and USDA <br />(1983). BLM (1977) recommends a lower tolerance limit of 3.5 whereas <br />OEQ (1985) suggests S.U. <br />. 5 The u <br />pper tolerance limit of this range is recommended by SEAM (1979) <br />and DEQ (1985) whereas OSi•1 (1985) proposes 8.8. <br />6 The actual minimum or maxirium acceptable salinityy level will depend on <br />the plant species proposea in the revegetation plarti, the potential for <br />upward salt movement and the particle size. <br />6-43 Revised 11/01/86 <br />
