In this quarter, no discharges were observed at
Points 005, 009, 011, and 014. Intermittent flows were observed at
Point 013.
Vehicle access to Points 004, 005, 008, 009, 010, 015, 016 and 017
this quarter was intermittent due to muddy or snowpacked roads.
Monthly visits were performed by snowmobile or snowshoe.
Seneca was issued a new CDPS permit effective November 1, 2006. As
this date fell within the middle of a calendar quarter, it presented a
problem as to which sets of DMR's to use (i.e., the DMR's issued under
the old permit or the new permit). After consulting with Andrew
Nuehart and Leslie Simpson of the WQCD, it was decided that, if a
parameter was common to both the new and old permits, then all data
for that parameter collected in the fourth quarter would be reported
on the new DMR'S (with a `from' date of 06-11-01) If a parameter was
only required under the old permit (total iron, suspended solids and
WET testing at some outfalls), that data would be reported on the old
DMR's (with a `from' date of 06-10-O1). In cases where an old DMR was
used, the words "old DMR" or "old permit" were written in red ink on
the upper right corner of the DMR.
The new CPDS permit contains outfalls with MN prefixes for quarterly
trace metal monitoring and WT prefixes for chronic WET tests.
