EXHIBIT I & J - Soils & Vegetation Information:
UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE
301 South Howes, Room 327, Ft. Collins, CO 80521
January 21, 1980
Mr. Tom Russell
11585 Highway 287
LaPorte, CO 80535
Dear Mr. Russell:
The area you requested vegetation and reclamation assistance for, on
the old Ingleside Quarry, is an area classified as Rock Outcrop which
- consist of rockland that contains 85 to 95% pure rock. A few trees and
very small patches of grass usually occurs over scattered area. It has
been mined in the past and is in rough condition. The only advice I could
give for reclamation would be to smooth the area after mining with fine-
size waste material, and Let nature take its course. Any reseeding would
fail.
Sincerely,
Glenn M. McCarty ~~
District Conservationist
0
