Attached is Exhibit G of the Granby Ranch Wildlife Mitigation Plan and the Zoning Map for
Granby Ranch, which shows the various planning areas. These two documents indicate that the
Overlook Mine site is subject to the terms and conditions of the Wildlife Mitigation Plan.
Also, the Overlook Mine site has undergone historic mining activity until at least the 1970's. The
32 acre parcel has about 13 acres of mine disturbance and the remainder is sparsely vegetated.
The site is not close to the Elk Conservation Area and is completely surrounded on all sides by an
active golf course (the Headwaters Golf Course). The main access road that gravel trucks will use
is already traveled by construction, residential, and golf course traffic.
I hope these points will address your concerns, and if so please let Rick Wenzel know. I will call
you to discuss.
Paul Banks
Banks and Gesso, LLC
Permit Consultant for Granby Ranch Realty Holdings, LLC.
