Lamm
Governor
November 26, 1984
Mr. J.R. Owen
Lincoln County
Lincoln County Courthouse
Hugo, Colorado 80821
Re: Ten Lincoln County 110 Permit Applications
File Nos. M-84-180 through M-84-189, inclusive
Dear Mr. Owen:
As per your request, enclosed please find one of the two permit application
copies you sent to our Division for each of the ten Lincoln County gravel
pits captioned above. As we discussed, normally our Division requires that
both copies of an application remain with our Division throughout the
permitting process. However, in this case, I feel that it is vital that
one copy of each of the ten applications be placed with the Lincoln County
Clerk's office as soon as possible. This same copy (for each of the ten
applications) can then be retained by Lincoln County as their copy of the
approved permit.
Any modifications to these permit applications resulting from adequacy
negotiations between Lincoln County and our Division staff should be placed
at the County Clerk's office with the applications and remain with them as
parts of the final approved permits. You can expect to receive a letter
from me discussing adequacy issues within the next several days.
Please call me if you have any further questions in this matter.
Sincerely,
Mark S.
