Long <br />Division Direcbr <br />Rule 1.4.6 of the Hard RockiMetal Mining Rules and Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board states, in part, that an informal conference shall be scheduled for reclamation permit applications <br />"upon the receipt of a timely written objection to the application, in accordance with Section 1.7, unless <br />the right to a conference is waived by the Applicant and all objectors." Hal Copeland, representing <br />American Soda previously waived [he applicant's right to a conference, and in a telephone conversation <br />earlier this week you waived the right to a conference on behalf of General Chemical and Church and <br />Dwight Company. As such, no informal conference will be held for this matter. If this is not your <br />understanding, please contact me immediately. <br />By canceling the informal conference, neither American Soda nor General ChemicaUChurch and <br />Dwight relinquish any other rights available under the Mined Land Reclamation Act and the <br />regulations. General Chemical and Church and Dwight remain parties [o the application process and <br />have the right to a hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Party status for such hearings is <br />described in the Colorado Administrative Procedures Act, 24-4-1O1, et seg•, C.R.S.
