Savage <br />8eclamation Specialist <br />Mining Land 8eclamation Division <br />423 Centennial Building <br />1313 Sherman Street <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />ee: Hayden Gulch Mine Permit (C-003-80) eevision No. 1 Stipulation P8 1 <br />Dear Mr. Savage: <br />The purpose of this letter is to respond to stipulation P8 1 of the approval <br />for a revision to the Hayden Gulch Mine Permit. <br />The stipulation requires a plan sufficient to control erosion off the steep <br />slope of the area adjacent to the intersection on M378,000 adjusted and <br />51,498,000 adjusted. <br />• To control erosion in the aforementioned area, the steep slope will be <br />regraded so that no segment will have a gradient steeper than 4:1 (H:Y). The <br />flatter slopes in this area will serve to control erosion. After final <br />grading the slope will be topsoiled, seeded with the approved mi:tore and <br />mulched. The reclamation of this elope will be done in conjunction with the <br />final reclamation of the mine in 1987. <br />I hope this submittal has addressed the requirement of stipulation P8 1 to <br />your satisfaction.
