Projects were in the USA, South Africa, Russia and Ukraine. Projects involved detailed analysis of <br />existing power structure, ufilities and fuel supplies. Included conceptual design of new power plant and steam <br />system with new environmental control strategy. Projects included 60 mw combined heat and power project <br />utilizing waste coal and fluid bed technology. Coal bed methane project for power generation and pipeline strategy. <br />Revamp of 100 mw coal fired plant. New power plant design for nickel processing plant in Ukraine and South <br />Africa <br />Consultant 1994-1999 <br />Consultant on vazious power projects [hm out [he United S[a[es. Projects were primarily cogeneration plants, <br />combined cycle plants and off spec gas projects for various clients. <br />Alternate Fuels Corp 1993-1994 <br />Vice President of comparry. Developed, designed and constructed a 10-megawatt coal methane gas fueled power <br />plant at the Peabody Coal Company's Green Valley coalmine. This project was the first in the United States to nm <br />on dvect coal methane gas. Plant was featured by the Department of Energy in 1996 at its Coal Methane Utilization <br />conference in Pittsburgh, Penn. Plum was brought on line in 1994. <br />• Mid South Cogeneration 1990-1993 <br />Vice President of company. Supervised design and construction of 15-megawatt wood fired cogeneration plant. <br />Performed all aspects of power project design, construction and development. Supervised project superintendents <br />and centractors. Purchased and designed all equipment and sub systems. Obtained all contracts and permits, Plant <br />brought on line in 1992. <br />Consultant 1987-1990 <br />Various projects in the Caribbean and United States. Projects were primarily diesel-fueled power plants, mechanical <br />systems, air conditioning and water treatment systems for hotels, banks and government owned utility companies. <br />Technology Concepts, Inc 1980.1987 <br />Owner. Directed employees in designing and building of control systems for boilers, turbines, physical plant <br />equipment of industries and commemial buildings. Directed all engineering and construction for company. Projects <br />include Boeing Corp., Abraham Lincoln Museum, F & N manufacturing, Ball Zinc, South Central Bell, SEI, and <br />etc. Sold company m Preferred Comrol Systems in 1982. Re-purohased company in 1984. Sold company to SEI in <br />1987. <br />Preferred Control Systems 1982-1984 <br />Project engineer for company. Oversaw manufacturing and installation of control systems. Was responsible for <br />daily production and insmllmion teams. Codeveloper of two patents for company: Energy Lock, an electrical <br />demand controls device, and the 2-step valve, that is used in water delivery systems. <br />Tennessee Valley Authority 197b19S0 <br />Nuclear Power division, Mechanical Engineering Group- Performed testing and constmdion inspection on all <br />nuclear plants in TVA system. Part of design team that built first automated computer based testing and control <br />equipmem that was approved by the Nuclear Regulatory commission.
