Introduction
The climate section contains data from climatic observation stations
which are typical of conditions within the county. These data are intended
to provide a set of information for normal use. A brief description of
the climate is included to aid in interpretation and use of the tabulated
data. Primary emphasis is placed on temperature and precipitation with
other pertinent data included if available. The climatic data are intended
to describe average conditions and variations from the average; consequently
maxima. minima, and extremes are included is the data,
Most of the data presented were prepared by the Colorado Climatologist
from data obtained from the National Climatic Center. Information on
more detailed data, interpretation of the data, or other climatic character-
istics in the county is available from the Colorado Climatologist at the
