Revised <br />October 16, 1981 <br />All old mines or previous mining in the permit and adjacent area were <br />underground mining operations which utilized the technique of room and <br />pillar. Production and coal data for the coal mined at the abandoned <br />operations are shown on the attached sheets. Likewise, the extent of <br />coal removed and the approximate dates of past mining are shown on the <br />attached sheets. The uses of the land preceding mining were limited to <br />rangeland. The location and the extent of acreage disturbed by previous <br />coal mining and reclamation operations is shown graphically on the Land <br />Use flap (Map 1). <br />• <br />n ~~ O <br />
