• Golder Associates Inc. (Golder) is pleased to submit this summary of Phase IVa, b, and c Construction
Quality Assurance (CQA) services performed for the Cresson Project during the period of August l ls'
through August 29s', 2002.
The weather during this reporting period was cleaz to cloudy. Approximate daytime low
temperatures ranged from 36° F to 56° F, and highs ranged from 71° F to 95° F. Rain was recorded
on August 19`", 2151, and 23`d, 2002. Weather observations were made on sixteen days of this
nineteen day reporting period.
Construction Synopsis
Ames Construction Inc. (Ames) of Aurora, Colorado is the earthworks contractor for the Phase IVa, b,
and c construction. Ames conducted Phase IVa, b, and c construction activities on sixteen days of this
nineteen day reporting period (August 12~' through August 16s' and August 19`s through August 29`").
Phase IVa
Ames continued placement of Drain Cover Fill (DCF) and haul road construction in the Phase IVa
azea. The DCF was placed using CAT D6, D8, and D9 dozers. The DCF was placed on the floor and
slopes, advancing from north to south. DCF placement was completed on August 28's.
• Ames continued final grading of the Phase IVa diversion channel by grading subgrade according to
design drawings and placing 6-inches of low permeability channel lining fill.
