DEPT. OF NgTllggE RESOU(lCES
Enclosed is my application for a well permit to comply with CRS 1973,
37-90-137 which will allow me to continue to use pond water. The
pond ie s natural depression and is not man made.
In a telephone conversation with Mr. Robert Jesse on March 4, he
advised that the evaporation rate for this area is 2.67 acre feet
and that I would need to cover through augmentation the amount of
evaporation caused by my operation.
The surface area of the pond is approximately 21,000 square feet
or .463 acre. It would evaporate about 1.24 acre feet. I would be
happ,Y to transfer one half share of Twin Lakes water which I own to
the pond. Mr. Jesse said that the half share would be adequate to
cover the evaporation loss since the pond is natural and is frozen
over seven months of the year.
I am in contact with ±he KLE Er.gineerinG Company ir. Pueblo to
begin the augmentation process.
Aespectfull
on R.
