The Division has completed a preliminary reclamation cost estimation for the Martinez operation
totaling $19,879. The reclamation cost estimation is based upon conditions of the proposed
mining and reclamation plan and requirements of the Construction Materials Act and Rules.
Enclosed please find 21 pages of summary, work sheets and data sheets utilized by the Division
to calculate the cost of reclamation.
Please review the enclosed reclamation cost estimation. Reclamation tasks 001, 002 and 005
results from the observational quarry planning method chosen by the Applicant to address the
requirements of Rule 6.5. Under task 006, the Division has estimated revegetation costs for not
only the one acre processing yard but also for the embankment of the proposed access road.
