Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology has completed review of the 4th quarter 2002 and <br />the 151 and 2"d quarter 2003 sediment pond inspection reports for the Raton Creek <br />mine, #C-82-055. <br />Each inspection report demonstrates compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17) for <br />impoundments. Observations are consistent with field observations noted during <br />Division inspections periodically throughout the year. Sediment cleanout of about one <br />acre-ft of material was noted in the first quarter report. <br />We have no further questions or comments at this time.
