have been observed. Arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper and lead concentrations have
been low with a few exceptions. Moybdenum, nickel and selenium concentrations have
stayed low, except for a slightly higher selenium value in well P-3. The recent radium 226
values have been tow. The laboratory mistakeny missed the anaysis for phosphate and
phosphorus for a group of well samples.
3.6 SPRING AND SEEP WATER QUALITY
Table B-2 in Appendix B presents the water-quality data for the springs and seeps at
the Trapper Mine. The locations of the springs and seeps that were flowing in 2003 are
shown on Maps 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3. Row from the springs and seeps are shown on Table B-
2, which shows that East Pyeatt and Johnson springs exceeded 5 gpm in their discharge
rate in 2003. Water quality from the springs and seeps are similar to the ground-water
quality for the site. The TDS values from Johnson Gulch spring are much higher than the
remainder of the springs' water quality. Johnson springs' TDS is similar to that observed
from badffill well GF7. A substantial decline in TDS in the bacldill aquifer at well GF7 will
likey be necessary for the TDS concentrations in the Johnson Gulch spring to decline, An
increase in TDS concentrations was observed in the East Pyeatt Spring in 2000 with a fairly
similar value in 2003. The TDS for Fox Den Spring and Coyote for 2003 were similar to
values measured in 2002.

3-12
