Long
Drv~sion Director
Enclosed are the results of the final results of the water sample
taken during the Division's inspection on September 10, 1992.
Previously, I sent to you the results of the settleable and
suspended solids. Enclosed are the results for iron and manganese.
The sample was taken at the outlet of the culvert at the west end
of the permit area at the rail spur. The culvert is directly
across from the dugout pond. This culvert has recently been
identified (through Technical Revision No. 2) as SAE sampling point
No. 3.
Also, enclosed is the notice of expiration of Terror Creek's permit
that I sent to Kelly Fritzler on November 23, 1992. The renewal
application should be received by the Division on February 23,
1992.
In follow up to our phone conversation today regarding the
installation of the two culverts, added to the site during the TR
2 review, I would recommend that these culverts be installed as
soon as conditions allow, since they are now part of an approved
drainage plan. Once, these culverts have been installed, please
transmit a letter to me as to the date they were installed.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions regarding
any of these issues.
'Christine E. n ton
Reclamation pec'alis
Enclosures
