"Line brattice or any other approved device used to provide venti- <br />lation to the working face f ran which coal is being cut, mined or <br />loaded shall be installed at a distance no greater than 10 feet <br />from the area of deepest penetration, to which any portion of <br />the face has been advanced. <br />2. "A minimum quantity of 3,000 cubic feet a minute of air shell <br />reach each working face from which coal is being cut, mined or <br />loaded." <br />3. "The minimum mean entry face velocity as specified in Section <br />. 75.301-4, 30CFR75, shall be 60 feet a minute in all working places <br />where coal is being cut, mined, or loaded." <br />4. "The minimum quantity of air reaching the last open crosscut in <br />any pair oP set of developing entries or rooms shall be 12,000 <br />cubic feet a minute. When diesel face haulage equipment is used, <br />air quantity will be adjusted to comply with manufacturer's in- <br />structions.
