2.03.8 Permit Term Information <br />(11 The anticipated or actual starting and termination date <br />of each phase of the surface mining activities and the an- <br />ticipated number of acres of land to be affected for each <br />phase of mining and over the total life of the permit. <br />Not Applicable <br />12) The anticipated or actual starting date and termination <br />date of each phase of the underground mining activities and <br />the anticipated number of acres of surface lands to be af- <br />fected, and the horizontal and vertical extent of proposed <br />underground mine workings, for each phase of mining and over <br />the total life of the permit. <br />Grand Mesa Coal Company placed the Red Canyon Mine site in <br />temporary cessation on April 11, 1984. The mine site was <br />permanently reclaimed during 1988. The current permit ex- <br />pires on July 29, 1993. Grand Mesa Coal Company will main- <br />tain a permit and reclamation bond for a minimum 10 year <br />period after 1988 which is the last year augmented seeding, <br />fertilizing, irrigation or other work has been performed on <br />site or until revegetation success is attained which ever is <br />later. <br />• All of the disturbed area on site has been reclaimed except <br />for the sediment pond area and the access road adjacent to <br />the sediment pond. <br />13) Surface or underground mining activities in excess of ~ <br />,years. <br />Not applicable. <br />• 29 (Revised 11-OS-89) <br />
