Here for your review is the "Public Notice" that appeared in the local newspaper. An area map is included for your convenience. Public Notice M. Peter Schrepfer; P.O. Sox 1051, Trinidad, Colorado 81082, has filed an application for a Reclamation permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board under provisions of the Colorado Mined Land Act. The proposed mine is known as the Dmerald Vista Estates Pit, and is located in Section 15, Township 33 South, Range 63 East, 6th P.M. The proposed date of commencement is March 1, 1994 and the proposed date of completion is March 1, 1999. Additional information and tentative decision date may be obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, 303-866-3567., or the Las Animas County Clerk and Recorder in the Las Animas County Courthouse in Trinidad, Colorado, or the above named applicant. Written comments must be received by the Division of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. ten days following the publication of this notice. If you have comments concerning the proposed pit you should direct them to Mr. James Dillie with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. The Division's address and phone number are in the notice.
