• Page 2 June 11, 2007 <br />Per this comparison the completed pond is well within tolerances necessary to <br />function as intended for sediment capture and inflow/outflow function. The outflow <br />primary and emergency outlet pipes are in place, constructed at the proper <br />diameters, locations, & elevations, and will also function as designed. The <br />confirmation of pond topography occurred in the FE offices using AutoCAD Civil 3D <br />surface model technology. The results of this study are attached hereto as two <br />11x17 plan and profile drawing sheets. <br />Please accept this signoff document as evidence that the siltation pond at the <br />National King Coal King II mine expansion project is substantially complete and will <br />function as designed for the purposes of sediment collection and storage, and <br />stormwater detention. <br />Submitted, <br />E <br />ion -Project Civil Engineer <br />37~ <br />~° ~ ~• <br />
