<br />Notes: <br />1. Capacities are obtained from the permit document except for the ponds located <br />at the west mine. The capacity of the West Mine pond was certified by the <br />undersigned on 3-22-01. <br />2. The west mine impoundments were installed during the fourth quarter of 2001 to <br />provided sedimentation control for the partially reclaimed were mine. They are <br />scheduled to be replaced by permanent sediment ponds during the second <br />quarter 2002. <br />3. The sediment capacity of the ponds may be less than shown in the table <br />because of interim sediment accumulation. <br />4. N/A means not available or not applicable_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ___ _ <br />The west mine impoundments number 1 and 2 do not meet all of the applicable <br />regulations. There are no primary or emergency spillways provided for the <br />impoundments.
